Qantas Airways
Qantas Airways, Australia's national carrier and a founding member of the oneworld alliance, has been a leader in aviation since 1920. Known as "The Spirit of Australia," Qantas combines its rich heritage with innovative services to deliver a premium travel experience for both domestic and international travellers.
Operating from major Australian cities—including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide—Qantas connects passengers to an extensive domestic and international network. Through its strategic partnership with Emirates, travellers can seamlessly book flights operated by both airlines, gaining access to Emirates’ extensive Middle Eastern and European networks. This partnership offers convenient connections to over 130 destinations worldwide, including popular routes to London, Dubai, and European cities such as Paris and Rome. It’s important to note that while many services transfer seamlessly, some Emirates-exclusive benefits, such as chauffeur drive, may not apply when booked through Qantas.
Qantas also offers unrivalled domestic connectivity, with its regional subsidiary QantasLink ensuring smooth transitions between major cities and remote locations across Australia. Internationally, Qantas flies to Asia, Europe, North America, and the Pacific, with standout routes including Sydney to London via Singapore, Perth to London non-stop, and flights to Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Auckland.
Through its strategic partnership with Emirates, Qantas passengers gain seamless access to over 150 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa via Emirates’ Dubai hub. Popular routes include Sydney to London via Singapore, Perth to London non-stop, and Sydney to Paris or Rome. It’s important to note that while many Emirates services align with Qantas bookings, some exclusive Emirates benefits, like chauffeur drive, may not transfer when booked through Qantas.
In addition to its partnership with Emirates, Qantas collaborates with other Oneworld alliance members, including British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Japan Airlines, expanding connectivity to Asia, the Americas, and beyond. This global network ensures that Qantas passengers can travel to virtually any destination with ease.
The airline’s dedication to excellence has been recognised with numerous awards, including SKYTRAX’s Best Airline in Australia and the Pacific, as well as accolades for safety, inflight service, and cabin innovation.
Qantas’ ambitious Project Sunrise promises to redefine long-haul travel. Set to launch in 2025, this initiative aims to operate non-stop flights from Sydney and Melbourne to major global cities such as London and New York—routes that would become the longest non-stop commercial flights in aviation history. With new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft specifically designed for ultra-long-haul travel, Project Sunrise will offer spacious cabins, enhanced wellness zones, and innovative features to ensure passenger comfort over extended journeys. This visionary project underscores Qantas’ commitment to staying at the forefront of aviation innovation.

Members enjoy benefits such as priority boarding, cabin upgrades, and access to Qantas lounges worldwide, making it a valuable program for frequent travellers.
